EMERALD FORESTS

Olympia National Park and Lake Crescent

Day 1: Fly into SeaTac and head to the coast just in time for sunset at Ruby Beach.

Day 2: Arrive bright and early at the Hoh Rainforest entrance and have the Hall of Mosses to yourself.  Next head to Hurricane Ridge to understand the range of beauty in this National Park

Day 2: Spend the day at Lake Crescent.  This crystal clear glacier lake is surrounded by dense forest and beyond beautiful.  

Day 3: Head to Port Townsend and ferry to Whidbey Island.  Take the backroads and pass by charming historic farms and beautiful bluffs on the way to Coupeville.  This charming seaside town is know for mussels and whale watching on Penn Cove. 

Day 4: Cross Desolation Pass and head back to city.  Farewell dinner is at Pink Door, an Italian gem hidden in the back alleys of Pike Place Market.

Day 2: Start the day at the Pop Culture Museum.  Head north to the Fremont neighborhood and wander through vintage shops and eclectic boutiques. Grab drinks at The Whale Wins

Day 3: Spend the day sailing on the Puget Sound followed by oysters atThe Walrus and the Carpenter.  Catch a late night show at The Crocodile

Day 4: Dim Sum in the International District and homeward bound
